New Format for Good Morning Idyllwild – Starting Monday April 24th, Good Morning Idyllwild will come out just twice a week – on Monday morning and Friday morning. Monday will include all the information for Mon/Tue/Wed/Thur and Friday’s email will include all the information for Friday/Saturday/Sunday. We hope you enjoy fewer emails in your inbox, but still enjoy having one place to find out what’s happening in town. Word of the Day: Splooting
To lie flat on the stomach with the hind legs stretched out behind the body. Many animals sploot including dogs and yes, squirrels. They do it to relax, stretch and cool off. The word sploot may have come from the word SPLAT which is characterized by flat or spread out.
So next time your stiff and hot, try splooting on some cool area and see if you don’t feel better.
